In contrast to Alan Littley, a few days later Barry Martin chose the only sunny patch in the last week of April for his regular AAMI visit . And he soon made the most of it, motivating the beginners with a fine 5 pound rainbow from Cabin Lake shortly after arriving! Cabin Lake went on to produce a couple more fish (and a couple of big fish tragedies), but Yuulong proved the star of the day, with several fine fish falling to a mixture of midge patterns, Tom Jones and Woolly Buggers.
