Ian Sambal and his crew of 6 visited us again during October. Here's Ian's report....
"Once again we had a great trip to Millbrook. Fish to 6+ LB were landed and the standout day was on Tuesday at Siberia with Doddie.
3 anglers caught 13 fish, all in excellent condition and Peter Gadd almost got the Grand Slam with a Golden, Brown, and 2 Rainbows. All he needed was a Brookie.
My most enjoyable day was polaroiding along the edges at Baby Blue on Thursday. I hooked 4, landed 2 (pulled the hooks whilst trying to keep the fish out of the weed) and missed another one on the strike. Next time.....
Jim has some photos for you and suggested I send you a photo of the 6+ Rainbow caught at Siberia.
The cabins were comfortable as usual and the crackling fire at night kept the conversation flowing over a red or two.
