The proprietors of Millbrook Lakes – Mark Weigall and Jon Clewlow - ducked off to Macphersons Lake to see how it fished on a warm(ish) still, clear, blue-sky day. We usually only go there on dull days!!
Two 5 pounders on an emerger pattern and another of similar size on a Stuart Tripney nymph was a great result.
After things slowed down a little, Mark & Jon headed off to Blue Gum Lake – where it was going OFF on damsels……
